I would highly recommend Mr Bhattacharya I had surgery for an inguinal hernia. From the consultation to aftercare he was so caring and put me at ease. I could call him anytime I felt I needed to and nothing was too much trouble. Top marks to Jayne also as she dealt with any concerns I had. The whole team at Highfield were excellent.

I would definitely recommend Mr Battacharya he is a lovely caring consultant who listened and took time to explain what would happen in my surgery and what to expect afterwards . Follow up appointment just as important and he assured me everything was healing properly and was as expected .

I would highly recommend Mr Bhattacharya. I found him to be an excellent, kind and caring Surgeon. He took the trouble to call me the day after the operation to see how I was feeling. He is very professional, nothing was too much trouble and he was very accommodating in arranging initial scans and a convenient date for the surgery.

Cannot praise Sayan enough, his secretary jane was amazing from the start and then from my first consultation with Sayan right through to discharge and later down the line when I had further issues or concerns
I was treated for hiatus hernia & toupet fundoplication and cannot fault him, he was kind considerate & explained everything brilliantly, nothing was ever too much trouble, he constantly kept in touch via email text & phone, and was there when I needed him.
I would highly recommend this surgeon.

Mr Sayan Bhattacharya is a Consultant General Surgeon and Lead for Clinical Governance in General Surgery at North Manchester Hospital. He specialises in Benign, Laparoscopic Upper GI and Emergency General Surgery.
